WPP: Veterans to Project Managers
Minority veterans are up to 44% more likely to be unemployed following their military service, and 18% more likely to be uninsured. The path to entry into the advertising industry is historically limited.
Through a 10-week training programme, a group of minority veterans will acquire new skills and industry knowledge to help them become extraordinary project managers, client leaders and more. Each participant will leave the programme with FourBlock professional training, a Google Certification in Project Management and ongoing support from the best project managers across WPP’s network.
Not only will this initiative provide WPP with a talent pipeline of underrepresented minority veteran project managers to tap into, but it will also offer participants the opportunity to join WPP agencies and thrive.
